Steam saunas

Commonly called as “Turkish” saunas; they have steam as a heat source which is produced by special steam generators and is delivered by copper tubes to the room. Wood is not used for interior for simple reason- humidity is always 100% inside the sauna. Due to that ceramic, stone mass or glass bricks are used for interior. Mosaic tesseras are usually used to avoid sharp corners (on berths, seats, other places) and to get a special shaped surface. Steam saunas, usually due to much higher price compared to “Traditional” ones, are less popular and seldom installed as the main ones.
